Sarchimor is a cross between Villa Sarchi and Timor Hybrid, combining Costa Rican Bourbon genetics with disease resistance. Developed in the 1960s-70s, Sarchimor lines tend to produce better cup quality than Catimors at equivalent altitudes, particularly when grown above 1,200 meters. The cup profile is clean with medium body, moderate acidity, and sweet chocolate notes.
