关于

Coffea eugenioides is actually one of the two parent species of Arabica (along with Coffea canephora/Robusta), though it is now cultivated as a micro-lot specialty. It produces extremely low caffeine content and yields, but the cup profile is extraordinary: intensely sweet, with almost no bitterness, delicate tropical fruit, and a sugar-cane-like sweetness that has made it a sensation in competition coffee circles.

抗病性

Limited published data on disease resistance for cultivated Coffea eugenioides micro-lots. As a diploid Arabica parent species (2n=22), its susceptibility to Hemileia vastatrix has not been formally characterized at commercial scale.
