关于

Mogiana spans the border region between northern São Paulo state and southern Minas Gerais, historically one of Brazil's most important coffee-producing corridors. The region's famous terra roxa soils, derived from basalt volcanic rock, are among the most fertile in Brazil and impart a distinctive mineral quality to the coffee. Mogiana coffees offer a balanced, medium-bodied cup with chocolate, toasted nut, and mild stone fruit notes. The Mundo Novo variety, a natural Bourbon-Typica hybrid, was first identified in this region and remains widely planted. Mogiana's proximity to São Paulo's infrastructure and ports has kept it commercially important since the 19th-century coffee boom.
