Tim Tim is the local name for Timor Hybrid varieties cultivated in the Aceh region of Sumatra, Indonesia. It descends from the natural Arabica-Robusta cross discovered on the island of Timor in the 1920s. Tim Tim combines disease resistance with the earthy, herbal, and full-bodied character typical of Sumatran wet-hulled coffees, making it important to the Gayo Highland coffee culture.
