Gooseneck Kettle

A kettle with a narrow, curved spout that gives the user precise control over water flow rate and placement during pour-over brewing. Temperature-controlled models add exact heat management.

The restricted spout diameter slows the pour to roughly 3–5 mL per second, enabling baristas to target specific areas of the coffee bed and control agitation. Electric gooseneck kettles with PID temperature control can hold water within ±1 °F of a target, which is critical for light-roast specialty coffees that are sensitive to brew temperature. Stovetop versions lack temperature hold but remain popular for their simplicity and durability.
