Marsellesa is a Sarchimor-derived variety developed by CIRAD (France) and released by World Coffee Research. It was specifically selected for superior cup quality among disease-resistant lines and named after the French national anthem. Marsellesa offers strong leaf rust resistance with a cup profile featuring clean acidity, good sweetness, and chocolate-citrus complexity that can rival traditional varieties at higher altitudes.
