Acaia
概要
Acaia is a selection from the Mundo Novo population, developed by IAC in Brazil and distinguished by its larger bean size. It shares Mundo Novo's vigor and productivity but produces a slightly cleaner cup. Acaia is primarily grown in Brazilian cerrado regions where its drought tolerance is valued, delivering a smooth cup with nutty sweetness and low acidity.

Susceptible to coffee leaf rust and coffee berry disease as a Mundo Novo selection; drought tolerance does not confer pathogen resistance. Chemical management is standard practice in Brazilian cerrado production.
