詳細分析
Arabica is a tetraploid species originating in the highlands of Ethiopia and South Sudan. It is self-pollinating, which limits genetic diversity but allows for stable varietal characteristics. Arabica is more susceptible to coffee leaf rust and coffee berry borer than Robusta, making it costlier to farm. Prominent Arabica varieties include Bourbon, Typica, Gesha, SL28, and Caturra.
