Gesha Village
À propos
Gesha Village refers to Arabica varieties grown at the Gesha Village coffee estate in the Bench Maji Zone of southwestern Ethiopia, near the original collection site of the Geisha/Gesha variety. The estate cultivates multiple indigenous varieties at high altitude in a forest-coffee environment. These coffees showcase remarkable terroir-driven complexity with intense florals, citrus brightness, and the characteristic tea-like body of Gesha genetics.
Résistance aux maladies
Susceptible to coffee leaf rust and coffee berry disease as a traditional Arabica. Forest-coffee agroforestry at the Gesha Village estate and altitude above 1,900 m provide natural disease suppression without formal resistance breeding.
