À propos
The percolator continuously cycles boiling water through a basket of ground coffee using the force of gravity and steam pressure. Popular from the late 1800s through the mid-20th century, it produces a strong, bold cup through repeated extraction. While largely replaced by drip machines in home use, percolators remain valued for camping and large-batch brewing. The key to a good percolator cup is controlling the brew time to avoid over-extraction and bitterness.
