Acerca de

Volcán sits on the western face of Volcán Barú, opposite Boquete, receiving more Caribbean weather influence that produces higher rainfall and a different flavor profile. The district has gained recognition as producers like Finca Deborah and Janson Coffee have demonstrated that the western slopes can produce coffees rivaling Boquete's finest. Volcán Geisha and Typica lots display intense tropical fruit, stone fruit, and complex floral notes with a vibrant, sparkling acidity. The region's slightly different terroir compared to Boquete often yields coffees with more body and fruit-forward character. Volcán has established itself as an essential counterpart to Boquete in Panama's luxury coffee landscape.
