Acerca de

Cusco's Quillabamba valley, historically called the 'Valley of Eternal Summer,' produces coffee in the transition zone where the Andes descend toward the Amazon basin. The region's cloud forest environment provides natural shade and consistent moisture, while Andean elevation ensures cool nighttime temperatures. Cusco coffees display a distinctive character with medium body, bright citrus acidity, and notes of chocolate, tropical fruit, and herbs. Many farms in the Quillabamba area are managed by Quechua-speaking smallholders organized into cooperatives. The region's proximity to Machu Picchu and its unique terroir have attracted growing interest from specialty buyers seeking Peruvian single-origin lots.
