Ethiopia is the birthplace of Arabica coffee and home to thousands of indigenous heirloom varieties still growing wild in highland forests. The country's two main coffee regions, Yirgacheffe and Sidamo in the south and Harrar in the east, produce distinctly different profiles. Ethiopian coffees are revered for their extraordinary floral aromatics, bright berry-like fruitiness, and tea-like delicacy.
