Giới thiệu

Dak Lak province is the epicenter of Vietnam's massive Robusta coffee industry, producing more than half of the country's total output and making Vietnam the world's largest Robusta exporter. The Central Highlands' red basaltic soils, derived from ancient volcanic activity, are exceptionally fertile and well-suited to Robusta cultivation at modest elevations. Dak Lak Robusta is characterized by its powerful body, very low acidity, and bold flavors of dark chocolate, peanut, and earthy woodiness that form the backbone of instant coffee and espresso blends globally. The province's coffee industry expanded dramatically from the 1990s, transforming the local economy and landscape. Emerging specialty producers are beginning to explore washed and natural Robusta processing, revealing unexpected complexity in carefully processed lots.
