Kawisari is an Indonesian Arabica cultivar developed from Catimor-type genetics at the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute (ICCRI) in Jember. It was selected for its strong resistance to coffee leaf rust and high productivity in Indonesian growing conditions. Kawisari produces a clean, mildly sweet cup with moderate body, suited to both wet-hulled and washed processing.
