Sobre

Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is the world's highest coastal mountain range, rising directly from the Caribbean coast to over 5,700 meters and creating a unique isolated coffee terroir. Indigenous Arhuaco, Kogi, and Wiwa communities cultivate coffee on the lower slopes using traditional agroforestry methods that preserve the mountain's extraordinary biodiversity. Sierra Nevada coffees are distinctive for their mild acidity, medium body, and sweet flavor profile with notes of dried fruit, cocoa, and brown sugar. The region's geographic isolation and indigenous stewardship produce coffees with a character found nowhere else in Colombia. Organic and shade-grown practices are the norm rather than the exception here.
