Sobre

Huila is Colombia's leading specialty coffee department, consistently winning Cup of Excellence competitions and commanding premium prices. The region benefits from the convergence of the Central and Eastern Andean cordilleras, creating a complex topography of microclimates at elevations reaching 2,000 meters. Huila coffees are known for their juicy acidity, medium-to-full body, and vibrant fruit notes ranging from red grape to tropical passion fruit. The department's smallholder farmers have embraced specialty production, with many operating their own micro wet-mills. Huila has become synonymous with the best of modern Colombian coffee, balancing tradition with innovation.
