Sobre

Cerrado Mineiro was Brazil's first coffee region to receive a Denomination of Origin certification, recognizing its distinctive terroir in the western Minas Gerais savanna. The region's well-defined dry season provides ideal conditions for uniform cherry ripening and consistent natural processing on concrete patios. Cerrado coffees are prized for their full body, low acidity, and sweet chocolate-nut flavor profile with hints of dried fruit and caramel. The flat to gently rolling terrain enables mechanized harvesting, making Cerrado one of the world's most efficient specialty coffee regions. Large-scale estates and cooperatives here have pioneered sustainable farming practices and traceability systems.
