About
Cold drip (also known as Kyoto-style or Dutch coffee) slowly drips ice-cold water through a bed of ground coffee over several hours. Unlike immersion cold brew, the slow percolation produces a cleaner, more complex cup with enhanced aromatic qualities. The iconic tower drip setup originated in Kyoto, Japan, and the visual drama of the process has made cold drip towers a centerpiece of many specialty coffee shops.
