Centroamericano (also known as H1) is an F1 hybrid created by CIRAD by crossing Sarchimor T5296 with Rume Sudan, an Ethiopian landrace. It combines excellent disease resistance with outstanding cup quality derived from the wild Rume Sudan parent. Centroamericano produces complex, sweet cups with bright acidity, tropical fruit notes, and a clean finish that regularly scores above 85 in cupping evaluations.
