Burundi is one of East Africa's hidden gems, producing exceptional washed Bourbon coffees at elevations of 1,400-2,000 meters. The country's washing station system, concentrated in the northern provinces of Kayanza and Ngozi, produces bright, complex coffees with citric acidity, stone fruit sweetness, and tea-like delicacy.
